We also offer perks for our community heroes, including military and first responder discounts, and a local frequent buyer program. We love welcoming you in person, so while we don’t offer delivery or online ordering, our team is always ready to help you find exactly what your pet needs when you visit.

We’re a family-owned, women-led crew with one mission: help pets live long, happy, healthy lives. Each of us started as pet owners navigating the world of natural food, and over time, our paths came together here in the heart of Old Town Ellicott City.
We share stories, swap tips, stick to our values, and sprinkle in a whole lot of fun along the way. Our goal? Make it simple—and joyful—for you to give your pets the best food and care possible.
Our Namesake
Why "Clipper's"
Many people assume we offer grooming services because of our name, but we don’t. Instead, we carry a fantastic selection of natural shampoos, conditioning sprays, flea and tick treatments, and other grooming products for pet owners to use at home.
Our name honors Clipper, Kate’s beloved yellow Labrador Retriever. Clipper was raised on a raw food diet and lived a long, healthy, and happy life, embodying the benefits of natural nutrition for pets. He was truly a once-in-a-lifetime dog and continues to inspire everything we do at Clipper’s Canine Cafe.
