Eating better food has transformed many pets lives.

"Doodad suffered from severe inflammatory bowel disease and multiple food allergies for years. Numerous prescriptive diets and medications were tried, but nothing worked. He dropped from a healthy 60 pounds to just 32, suffered daily vomiting and diarrhea, and almost lost his life during a risky exploratory surgery.
As a last resort, and despite our vet’s doubts, we put Doodad on a raw foods diet we had been hearing so much about. Within weeks, he was thriving! The diet gave him an extra 14 happy years and undoubtedly saved his life.
Doodad’s story is why we are so passionate about natural nutrition for pets. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Sharing the benefits of healthy diets with other pets is one of the main reasons why we opened Clipper’s Canine Cafe—a place where pet owners can access high-quality, natural nutrition and see firsthand how raw feeding and eating better food has transformed the lives of so many pets with stories similar to Doodad’s."

"The change I have seen in having my animals on a raw diet has been incredible. I’ve been feeding my pets a raw diet for 7 years, aiming to give them the healthiest food possible for a long, vibrant life.
In 2018, I discovered Clippers Canine Cafe with my Lab Mix, Raven. Kate and her mom, who run the family-owned store, are incredibly knowledgeable and always provide thorough guidance.
When we got our second dog, a Golden Retriever puppy, in 2019, Kate recommended a raw diet to ensure the right levels of Taurine and Omega-3s. Since then, both our dogs have thrived on a balanced raw diet from Clippers, using brands like Answers, Primal, and currently OC Raw.
We’ve noticed improved hydration, higher energy, and healthier coats. Our vets confirm they’ve stayed fit and happy. The only downside is cost, but for us, investing in their health is worth every penny. Clippers Canine Cafe has been an invaluable resource—if you can, feed your pets raw, but always with guidance tailored to your animals."

"Shortly after our St. Bernard turned 1, he started having digestive issues. For the next year, we were in and out of the vet office trying to figure out what was wrong. We spent thousands of dollars with no relief.
Kate, the owner of Clippers Canine Cafe, was determined to help us. She had mentioned several times that her dogs ate a raw diet. She was never pushy, just encouraging. The expense is what prevented us from making the switch. The digestive issues persisted.
Finally, we followed her advice and started a new diet. I cannot even begin to tell you the change in our dog. He became a new animal. He is the healthiest Saint we’ve ever had. It’s truly amazing. And the cost? We’re spending about the same as we did before, because our vet visits have all but stopped (just the occasional well visit).
This store carries the best food, treats, toys, etc. And the staff are great. We’ll never go anywhere else!"

"In 2022, our 2-year-old Aussie, Billie Jean, developed what we thought were hot spots while we were traveling. After months of vet visits, steroids, and antibiotics with no improvement, her condition worsened into a severe staph infection. Sores all over her body. We were terrified we might lose her.
A dermatologist eventually diagnosed her with an autoimmune disease, Pemphigus Foliaceus. Long-term treatment was supposed to include Apoquel, but I wasn’t comfortable with the potential side effects. After returning to Maryland, we worked with a holistic vet to safely wean her off the medications.
I became convinced her immune system had been overwhelmed at such a young age, by a number of factors- kibble fed, vaccines, and oral flea/tick products (bravecto), so we transitioned her to a fully raw diet and over time, added holistic support like mushrooms, CBD, and goat’s milk.
Today, she’s 100% off medication and truly thriving. We’re so grateful to have Clippers Canine Cafe supporting us on this journey!"

"I’ve been feeding raw for 5 years to both my pups. When I got my pug, Grendel, I wanted to make sure he had the best building blocks and was set up for success. I also rescued Victoria, a bulldog from a breeder mill in rough shape, hoping her chronic issues could be managed with diet and the products we stock at Clippers. I was right—she’s practically a new dog!"

"Blu has been eating a fully raw diet for 3 years, starting when he was about 4 months old. I originally introduced raw when he was just over 2 months by mixing it with kibble. After a month or two, he started picking out the raw and leaving the kibble behind.
I even tried getting him to finish the bag, but he refused—if it was just kibble, he simply wouldn’t eat. So in the end, Blu made the decision himself to go 100% raw… and I just went along with it! Despite the cost, it’s balanced out by fewer vet visits, and I’m happy he chose this route—he’s a healthy, happy Cane Corso."
